Hello and thank you for your interest in our football tournament.
Oadby & Wigston Fc are hosting our first football tournament on Saturday 22nd June and Sunday 23rd June 2024 for age groups as of 23/24 season U8, U9, U10, U11, U11 development, U12 and U13.
We will not be accepting Academy teams and only Grassroots Teams
Saturday 22nd June
- AM – U8 & U10
- PM- U11 Development & U12
Sunday 23rd June
- AM – U9 & U13
- PM – U11
The Matches will be 5v5 for U8 & U9, 7v7 for all other age groups with the maximum of 8 Players per team for 5v5 and maximum of 10 players for 7v7 and each match will be 15 minutes straight through.
Depending on the amount of entries we have there will be 10 or 12 teams per group (except U11 on the Sunday PM which we can cater for more)
there will be a normal scoring system for the group stages –
- Win is 3 points
- Draw is 1 point
- Loss is 0 Points
Then they will move onto Quarters (if enough teams), Semi Finals and Finals.
The cost to register for this Tournament is £40 per team but an early bird price of £35 if paid on or before 29th February 2024.
