Football on Sundays is finally back for the U8s after the Christmas break.
An early morning start for the team as we travelled to Melton for a tough game against a very good Asfordby side.
A cold game for both teams, but the football from every girl on the pitch was brilliant. Both team played extremely well. Hard tackling, great passes, good shooting and some brilliant goals – a very enjoyable game of football to watch.

Big shout out to our goalkeeper Aliya who made some excellent saves during the game – we know we are in safe hands with such a fantastic goalkeeper in-between the sticks 🖐🏻🥅
Belle and Myla were rocks in defence, Willow, Elsie and Soraiya were brilliant in midfield and Sienna & Lois chased every ball upfront. Overall a great game and a good start to football in 2025!
