Back where we left off with a great win today. Nice to see the girls back on the pitch after what seems like forever.
Very pleased with the girls performance overall, I think we started the game great. The performance did drop a bit and I think they improved but still a good fighting spirit.
Girls who I’ve spoken to about needing to improve their work rate and intensity also stepped up, so that was nice to see. Some great performances all over especially defensively.
That being said this week Millie was awarded player of the match. Strong in her challenges and covering well, then dropping back into position well.
