The Vixens had a fantastic start to the game where we dominated possession and had countless attempts on goal. We hit the post and cross bar so many times and their keeper was on fire saving everything. A long ball over the top caught out our defence and they scored 1-0 just before half time.
A good old team talk and a slight change in formation meant in the second half, we were scoring! The opposition had us working extremely hard and we had to dig deep to achieve the final score, winning 5-2!
Players of the match were Sisi & Rocket! Sisi scored a hat trick today, the final one being a beauty, and she worked very hard for the team. Rocket who joined us this season (but it feels like shes been with us awhile) slotted straight in, working really hard for the team, energy levels where brilliant and she never stopped troubling their right back.
